Tis the season...
And so December is upon us but unfortunately so is the cold. The end of the year is fast approaching and Christmas is just around the corner. November flew by in the blink of an eye and December looks to be going the same way.
The two gigs that I played last month, one at Leadbelly's in Canada Water, and at Luna Lounge in Leytonstone, both went by without too much of a hitch, and were a good chance to put my new 'one man band' set up through it's paces. I still felt a bit of practice needs to be done but I'm confident I'll be up to scratch in time for the gig I have lined up at Randy's Wing Bar in east London on the 21st of December. To give you an idea what's in store I've been in front of the camera again with a live performance of a song that is a favourite of mine. The not totally unfestive 'Jesus Don't Want Me For a Sunbeam'. A classic Nirvana song from their iconic 'Unplugged in New York' album.
Next years gig calendar is also starting to fill up and there are some exciting prospects on the horizon. I've been back in the recording studio, be it in my home studio set up, working on some new songs which hopefully should be ready for early next year.
I've also managed to keep going with the vlog despite going through a brief moment of loss of enthusiasm, something I'd heard all vloggers go through at some point, but I've managed to come out the other side and am still going strong. You can keep up to date on my YouTube Channel, but my latest offering is below for your viewing pleasure.
